Party in the Park and the Carnival
When
we decided that we were going to enter our group into the Carnival and have
a stall at the Party in the Park, we anticipated that it was likely to be
nice weather - being as it was in the middle of July! But as last year,
we had loads of rain! We left it until the very last minute on Saturday
morning before deciding if we were going to go ahead with the stall in the
park. At 11am the sun was shinning and the weather was lovely so we decided
it was "a go for Party in the Park"!
We had packed up our cars
earlier in the day and arrived at the park just after
12 noon. There were already loads of people there and the Dog Show was already
under way. We were lucky enough to have our stall adjacent to the Dog Show
and it was lovely to see all the dogs being so well behaved and enjoying
their day out.
We unloaded our cars on the field then parked them up at the infant school out of the way. It was certainly fun and games trying to erect 2 gazebos in the wind! I'd helped another couple of stall holders with their pop-up gazebos and it would be great to be able to get one of those for the MCFG to use at displays.
